His management expertise spans the full range of operational functions – HR, IR, P&L, finance, customer service, administration, legal and marketing expertise, creating value propositions for customers and penetrating new markets drawn from his many years of experience across diverse industries. He is currently General Manager in North Queensland for Queensland Rail's Network Business. A position that provides greater focus on supply chain outcomes for the Mount Isa Rail Corridor. Prior to Queensland Rail, Michael was recruited by an investment bank as part of the senior executive team transforming an Australian based shipping and logistics company that operated throughout Australia and Asia. He earned an MBA from QUT Graduate School of Business in 2008 and is an advisory Board member of a number of companies. |
