Paul Furse AIMM
CEO, WGC
Joining the Royal Navy straight from school, Paul served as an Executive Officer – Fighter Controller for 8 years and saw service in a variety of arenas around the world including the Falklands and the Gulf.
After leaving the Royal Navy, Paul moved to Bahrain where he was the operations manager for a company providing services to the oil and gas industries of Bahrain and Qatar. After 2 years in the middle east he moved to Australia with his wife, Debbie.
Once settled in Australia he joined Thrifty Car Rental where he worked for 6 years in various change management roles that included National Operations and Franchise roles based in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. After dabbling in the pest control industry in Sydney (and finding too many cockroaches), Paul returned to Cairns in 2003 and commenced working with WGC soon after.
