From Burnout to Balance

Workforce Sustainability...your business model may be sustainable but are your employees?

Location: Gold Coast
Date: Thursday 2 September 2010
Speaker: Dr Paul Lanthois

Many professionals believe that burnout comes with the territory of a high-pressured job, or balancing a busy home life with a consuming career. Pushing themselves to the limit at work often comes at a cost to personal relationships, health and wellbeing.

But business is beginning to count the cost of unhealthy and unhappy workers and view burnout as a workforce issue.

How sustainable is your workforce and are you or any of your team members on the brink of burnout? And how can managers take proactive and preventative steps towards balance to boost morale and productivity?

Chiropractor, author, speaker and work-life balance expert Dr Paul Lanthois has developed a step-by-step process to recharge the weary and re-ignite the burned-out.

Paul was able to regain his own energy and exuberance while running two businesses, being heavily involved in community work and raising a young family. Unlike most health professionals, he can truthfully say that he understands the condition first hand – the experiences and learnings of his recovery, and others shared and road tested with patients, form the basis of his unique Burnout to Balance program.

Join Dr Lanthois at this insightful breakfast presentation when he shares his tips, tricks and insights into maintaining a healthy work environment.

His presentation will cover:

  • How to evaluate the sustainability of your lifestyle and that of your employees
  • Practical tips to boost morale and productivity in the workplace
  • How to reduce absenteeism through illness and injury prevention
  • What you can do at home to improve effectiveness at work
  • How to create a healthier, happier and more productive work environment tomorrow.
  • In addition, participants will take home:

  • A list of simple and practical modifications to create a healthier and happier work environment.
